Essential Functions
- Develop applications and solutions based primarily on the Microsoft platform of technologies: C# .Net and MS SQL ServerProvide end-user technical support for assigned application softwareResolve application errors, data discrepancies, and queriesDeploy application updates and patchesMaintains work logParticipates in the testing and implementation of new systemsAssists with product QAMaintains corporate security and confidentialityContinually strives to provide Value Added Customer Service
- Other duties as assignedRequired SkillsExcellent communication, organization, and time management skillsDesire to learn new methodologies and technical skillsMust be self-motivated and detail oriented
- Ability to work effectively within a cross-functional team
- Ability to effectively prioritize multiple tasksGood problem solving, analytical, and troubleshooting skillsObject oriented analysis and design with a SOLID understanding of design patterns and principalsC#, .Net and WPF experience
- Experience with Web technologies such as Asp.Net Web forms, Asp.Net MVC, HTML, CSS, and JavaScriptDatabase design and development (Microsoft SQL Server)
- Desirable SkillsPrevious experience with customer facing responsibilitiesMS SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS)MS SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS)MS Team Foundation Server (TFS)Experience with SOAP and/or REST API Interfacing
- Bachelors Degree in Information Technology or related area or equivalent professional experience
- Minimum of 3-5 years of C#, .Net development experience
- Minimum of 3 years of experience working with MS SQL server 2008 RS and laterA willingness to work occasional evenings and weekends when operational requirements dictateOccasional travel may be required
