Description:
• Provide oversight and validation of standard data architecture & ETL environment.
• Establish scalability of database environment.
• Establish standards for ETL, database storage, security, and data administration.
• Establish documented procedures for data movement, staging, and ongoing maintenance in conjunction with the enterprise architecture.
• Establish the enterprise model to support all data input and output requirements (conceptual, logical, and physical).
• Manage overall architecture of all aspects of the data infrastructure (technical and database)
• Determine hardware, software, and communication requirements.
• Validate ETL Requirements.
• Coordinate ETL procedure development to ensure conformity, compliance with standards and lack of redundancy
• Translate business rules and functionality requirements into ETL procedures.
• Establish documented procedures for data movement, staging, and ongoing maintenance in conjunction with the enterprise architecture.
• Analyze & document existing EDW ETL processes
• Profile and validate data in source systems through to the EDW
• Document Source to Target Mapping and business rules
• Capture metadata with assistance of data stewards
• Analyze data defects within the EDW and identify root cause and solutions
• Work with PMs to develop schedules and work plans
• Develop data extracts for data from the EDW and secondary sources

Requirements:

• IBM Data Stage Required
• Health Care Domain Experience Required
• Exceptional technical skills to evaluate the current work done to date by working WITH the RCG team
• Very strong health care expertise in EDW models, ETL, design trade-offs, data analysis, etc.
• Senior level business analysis skills
• Flawless communication and political skills including the ability to work harmoniously with other consultants (RCG), write technical documentation and present findings up to director-level executives and the CIO
