Role: Senior User Interface Developer Location: Indianapolis,IN Job description PRIMARY PURPOSE: This position is for an experienced user interface developer and problem solver who enjoys experimenting with the latest UI and JavaScript frameworks at a Fortune 100 company. This code ninja will help expand our current Digital Marketing team. The ideal candidate will have the ability to work in a dynamic environment designing web and mobile applications as well as quickly and efficiently learn new areas of technology and market trends. Candidate must have the ability to work with a cross functional team in an iterative/agile development environment. PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITES: Create and improve web and mobile applications including functional, usability, and other client/browser issues Help design and implement high quality software features Comply with and implement software development best practices Increase software performance using quality code practices and tools. Work collaboratively with software team members to cohesively build products Work with business teams to create storyboards and wire frames ahead of conceptual design Convert conceptual designs into web or mobile pages Expert level CSS, HTML5, and JavaScript framework development Image manipulation for existing web graphics Usability analysis and testing of on-line and mobile applications Stay on top of usability trends and provide valued input on ui technology advancement MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS: Skills, Knowledge and Abilities: Demonstrable past user interface experience (list of applications/sites worked on) Expert level knowledge of CSS, HTML, JQuery, and Javascript in general. Experience with Angular.js, Bootstrap, or comparable UI frameworks & technologies. Experience using Visual Studio within an Asp.Net environment Experience developing for cross browser compatibility Experience with Grunt and Node.js a plus. Working knowledge of Photoshop and graphics manipulation ? Strong attention to detail with ability to meet aggressive deadlines Strong verbal and written communication skills, with an ability to express complex technical concepts in business terms Solid teamwork and interpersonal skills; ability to work well on cross-functional project teams and foster team commitment to tasks. Experience in full life cycle development of large-scale web / e-commerce applications Understanding of Agile methodology Mobile UI experience, understanding of version control, or an understanding of a CDN network a plus Required Experience and Education: HTML5/HTML, Javascript, CSS, jQuery Experince with Visual Studio Experince with client performance and debugging tools 5+ years experience as a UI developer/architect
