- 7-10 years experience web developing with PHP (5.3+) in an object-oriented, MVC contextA minimum of 2-3 years of experience in scaling open source systems in a LAMP environment (Linux/Unix, Apache, MySQL, PHP).
- Experience leading multifunctional teamsPrevious experience developing architectural roadmaps for LAMP based platforms.
- Advanced MySQL skills, including the ability to write and optimize complex queries, stored procedures, and triggersIntermediate JavaScript skills, including knowledge of different JavaScript libraries and trends in front-end application designBasic Unix skills, including the ability to manage and optimize web servers like Apache and nginxIntermediate git experience (branching, merging, conflict resolution)
- Thorough understanding of Memcached or comparable caching technology
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong sense of personal responsibility
- Strong willingness to work as a member of team
- Strong time management skillsGood prioritization skills
