Position Summary

Feature Lead/ Full stack Software Development Engineer role in Bank Enterprise Payments Technology. The software engineer will be responsible for driving the entire development cycle, from design to deployment of new feature requests, as well as maintaining existing features in web applications built using an MVC PHP Framework, jQuery, HTML5, Bootstrap CSS, PostgreSQL, Apex, SOQL, Docker, Circle CI and AWS technologies. The engineer will support and communicate with the departments that use the web applications whenever new features and bugfixes are requested. This position requires candidate to be well versed with client-side and server-side technologies. Candidate must possess passion and confidence producing high quality software, be ready to jump in and turn complex problems or ideas into efficient scalable solutions and perform code reviews.
Key Responsibilities
*  Design, develop and test efficient, scalable mobile-friendly and responsive web applications
*  Design and build relational databases and tables
*  Evaluate, analyze problems and new feature request requirements reported by users
*  Maintain existing web applications
*  Review code effectively.

Required Skills/ Background

* Minimum 7 years of experience with the following:
*  PHP MCV Framework, preferably CakePHP or Laravel
*  PHPUnit
*  Experience building RESTful API services and integrations
*  Software design, development and testing
*  Browser agnostic web Design/UX and development
*  Relational Databases, PostgreSQL or similar
*  GitLab/GitHub
*  Web security
*  jQuery/JavaScript, HTML, Bootstrap CSS
*  LINUX
*  CI/CI
*  Docker
*  Team Player, good communication

Desired Skills/ Background

* Knowledge, or 2+ years of experience with the following will be a plus:
*  Jira and Confluence
*  Circle CI
*  AWS Products such as EC2, ECS, RDS and WAF
*  Development in Salesforce with Apex and SOQL languages
