Role: Manufacturing Execution System (MES) Developer (2 positions) Location: Granite City,IL and Pertersburg, VA Essential Functions: Assist in the MES functional requirement specification process Assist in the preparation of technical design documentation Develop and integrate Wonderware MES (Performance and Operation), Wonderware System Platform, SQL, .Net and C# Assist in the software development of systems dedicated to capturing process information related to OEE, FPY, scrap, rework, productivity, downtime analysis, and predictive maintenance Develop and modify PLC and HMI Software to support Operational changes and improvements on the plant floor Support development of reporting design and data standards Work with plant operations staff to determine potential data requirements and sources Update and modify back-end modifications by changing SQL, MES API, software configurations, web screens and reports as needed (some SQL and .Net scripting will be required) Ability to travel up to 25%. Associates Degree in database design, along with 3-5 years of manufacturing IT work experience. A technical or engineering Bachelors degree preferred Qualified candidate will be experienced with the following: the development and implementation of Wonderware MES (Performance and Operations modules), System Platforms, and ArchestrA Framework; Wonderware InTouch HMI SCADA software; Wonderware IAS and MES API scripting; SQL Server Database and SSRS
