You should have : Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or related discipline, Masters Degree preferred or equivalent experience Minimum 5-7 years of experience with Java or Scala programming language in a web server environment Experience with Scala programming is a plus Strong experience with server-side multithreaded programming and object-oriented development Experience implementing and troubleshooting server-side code in a web server production environment Good understanding of design patterns Strong problem solving skills Experience specifying, documenting, and implementing object oriented interfaces Strong verbal and written communication skills. Must demonstrate ability to work as an effective team member Prior knowledge of finance/equity and financial data, or the desire to learn such topics, is preferred Prior experience working as part of a global development organization is also a plus
