Position : Sr. C# Software Engineer Type : 3+Months CONTRACT Location : Nashville, TN Job Description: Position Purpose: · The Senior C# Software Engineer creates, maintains and enhances information systems by designing, developing and installing software solutions. · Provides the technical decisions and guidance regarding complex software development projects. Is responsible for initiating discussions around innovation and proposes alternate process and technical solutions to software development problems. · The successful candidate will have to navigate the technical waters across Classic asp, .NET, MVC and T-SQL. Ultimately, our \"Classic asp\" legacy solution will be retired in lieu of our .NET and MVC solutions. But, our near-term needs are directly involving our Legacy application. Education and Experience: · Bachelor\'s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Mathematics or equivalent related disciplines. · Five+ yearsâ?? experience in software development. · Three+ yearsâ?? experience with C#. · Three+ years\' expertise in SQL Programming in a Microsoft SQL Server environment. · Two+ years Healthcare experience (CPT, ICD, Loinc, Eligibility, Claims, etc.). · Expert knowledge of Classic asp, .NET, MVC and T-SQL. Required Knowledge and Skill: · Strong understanding and breadth of experience with technical systems; ability to identify technical solutions for business problems. · Strong to expert understanding of the healthcare industry and the information exchange between providers, clearinghouses, payer and employers. · Strong organizational and project management skills. · Ability to interact with both internal staff and customer data representatives at all levels. · Excellent oral and written skills in order to effectively communicate with customers and internal staff. · Ability to develop and deliver presentation materials. · Quality driven with strong attention to details. · Ability to work on multiple assignments concurrently and under aggressive timelines. · Strong collaborative skills and self-starter. · Ability to field questions in an open forum or presentation. · Ability to formulate and define systems scope and objectives through research, due diligence and strong interactions with customers. · Solid understanding and practical experience in the use of SQL and applicable querying requirements.
