Role: SAP Business Objects Developer Location: Kennesaw,GA Yamaha has an excellent opportunity for a successful SAP Business Objects Developer to join our Information Services Division (ISD) in Kennesaw, GA or Cypress, CA. The SAP Business Objects Developer will develop analytical reports, dashboards, and storyboards using an assortment of SAP Business Objects products (i.e., Web Intelligence (Webi), Dashboard Designer (formerly Xcelcius), and Lumira). He / she will use CMaps for location intelligence solutions as well as Live Office. Yamaha is currently running SAP Business Objects 4.1 SP5 FP5. This position will build and maintain universes and develop against an SAP Business Warehouse (preferably 7.x) as well as an Oracle (12c) Data Warehouse. The SAP Business Objects Developer should be assertive and high energy. He / she must have the ability to quickly develop relationships inside and outside the project team, handle multiple assignments concurrently and meet agreed-upon deliverable dates. This position requires someone have at least five (5) yearsâ?? experience providing project planning inputs, including tasks, their durations and their dependencies. The SAP Business Objects Developer must be comfortable interfacing with ISD Management, other team members, and the user community. Experience, Knowledge, Skills Requirements : BA / BS degree from an accredited college or university required. Prior experience in a manufacturing or sales and distribution environment. A minimum of eight (8) years of Deski/Webi experience, including BEX query development skills. A minimum of three (3) years of Xcelcius / Dashboard Designer experience. Prior exposure to Lumira; demonstrated knowledge of best practices around data visualization. Experience designing, building, and maintaining universes. Experience with Publications / Report Bursting. Experience with Business Objects mobile solutions. Experience with Live Office. Experience with security roles and other Business Objects administrative functions. Working knowledge of ERwin and TOAD. Experience with SAP BW, Oracle databases, and star schemas; understanding of BW MDX layer. Experience with Windows, Unix, and Linux operating systems. Experience with Tomcat Web Server. Experience with Microsoft Office and Microsoft Project. Experience with Mercury Quality Center. Excellent verbal and written communication skills; excellent presentation skills. Business analysis skills; the ability to delineate between requirements and solutions. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively, depending on the need. Ability to be flexible, aggressive, and visible with other team members and with the user community. Some travel required (less than 10%). Overtime and weekend work will periodically be required.
