Role: Senior Database Administrator Loc: Herndon, VA The Sr. Database Administrator will: Be responsible for development, modeling and maintenance of multiple Oracle 11GR2 servers used for development, test and production. Develop SQL and PL/SQL scripts to migrate data and/or reorganize data to support project goals. Develop ETL scripts to manage data ingest and data capture services to support project goals. Model using Embarcadero ER/Studio, design and maintain an ERD model of 1000 entities. Requirements: Basic Requirements: 11yrs experience (BS and 8 or MS and 7). Qualified candidates must possess an active TS/SCI with polygraph. Demonstrated experience performing the full range of DBD/DBA duties to include monitoring database utilization, table space, back-ups, and running scripts to maintain data integrity. Experiencing supporting Team Play application with data input to Oracle databases. Experience configuring, managing, and maintaining the operation of complex relational databases; familiarity with UNIX, Linux, and Windows operating systems. Experience managing and administering development, test, and production environments for a system using the following subset technologies including virtual machines: Scientific Linux 6.5, Windows 7, Tomcat, Cognos 8, Endeca 6 (v1.5.08), Oracle 11g, ACE Load Balancer, Bacula, Maximo 7, My SQL, KVM, HAProxy J2EE/JAVA development experience Experience with Oracle 11g, PL/SQL, Oracle RAC, and single node instance O&M Experience with database modeling and design Knowledge of cloud computing and working within cloud environment
