Lead the design of interactive web pages and new features for Roku.com Lead the look/feel for marketing campaigns featured on Roku.com Plan, execute and present concepts to business owners Deliver creative strategies and design concepts that meet the business objectives Look for creative ways to advance our brand look/feel to further our brand strategy Collaborate and work individually to problem solve and offer best in class visual design solutions that further our mission to create great user experiences Articulate design rationale as a means to balance business goals and user needs Self-manage tasks and accurately scope project timelines Fluent understanding of brand guidelines and its application to the creation of images Fluent in modern (responsive design) web standards, languages and platforms (HTML 5, Drupal, Magento, Zendesk) Contribute recommendations for site testing and optimization and take on board learning from ongoing user research. Experience/Qualifications Degree in Graphic Design or equivalent. Minimum 5 years online experience designing and creating experiences for Web ecommerce sites (focused on entertainment is a plus.) A strong working knowledge of experience design, brand development, interactive commerce An in-depth knowledge of Creative Cloud software: Photoshop, Illustrator, Flash, plus online video editing/encoding standards Experience designing all facets of an ecommerce website from product selectors to transactional interfaces, and customer support pages At least 3 years experience working with medium to large-scale web sites Fluent in image optimization techniques, graphic fundamentals Proven ability to lead projects from concept to completion Strong designer who demonstrates control, ownership, effective communication and impeccable interpersonal skills Concept, design and create solutions that meet project goals Digital portfolio required Great attitude, highly collaborative, able to work in dynamic environment.
