Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. â?¢ Coordinate work efforts with network, programming and business appropriately. â?¢ Plan, coordinate and perform data migrations between systems; follow promote-to-production procedures. â?¢ Utilize change control and testing processes for modifications to databases. â?¢ Create reports, views or stored procedures in response to business needs. â?¢ Provide expertise on the implementation of database technologies and disciplines. â?¢ Install, upgrade and adjust MS SQL database management systems. â?¢ Install and configure relevant network components to ensure database access as well as database consistency and integrity. â?¢ Import/Export data using DTS (Data Transformation Services), SSIS (SQL Server Integration Services) packages. â?¢ Write and test T-SQL (Microsoftâ??s proprietary extended SQL) Scripts. â?¢ Transform company logical data model into a database design. â?¢ Build/rebuild indices based on application usage patterns. â?¢ Review SQL with developers to ensure applications perform at a high level against the database. â?¢ Respond to and resolve database access and performance issues. â?¢ Monitor database performance, space allocations, jobs, stored procedures and implement efficiency improvements as needed. â?¢ Perform database transaction and security audits. â?¢ Evaluate, monitor, manage, review and test the SQL server. â?¢ Additional duties may be assigned. Desired Skills and Experience Minimum Requirements â?¢ High school diploma or equivalent is required. Bachelorâ??s degree in one of the following areas is preferred: Computer Science, Business Administration, Information Technology or related field. â?¢ 3 years of experience with Microsoft SQL Server. â?¢ Experience with SQL Server 2008 R2 or higher. â?¢ Experience with ITIL (Problem Management/Incident Management/Change Management etc).
