Manage operational timelines within the SAP project from initiation to closure Connect and manage related project timelines (such as preweigh, shop floor controls, eWM, RPMS replacement) in a way that supports the overall SAP implementation plan. Connect in this context means to identify the inter-related tasks so that appropriate links are established in terms of predecessor/successor activities across the projects Work with the SAP manufacturing project leaders, Supply Chain process owners, local Key Users, and functional leaders to achieve the operational objectives as measured by the agreed KPIs Refresh and publish the project schedule on a weekly basis, highlighting activities on the critical path on a rolling forward-looking basis Lead project team meetings and clearly communicate expectations on upcoming milestones to each team member responsible for those milestones. Raise any issues e.g. missed milestones, resource constraints to resolve with the relevant process owners or functional leaders throughout the project life cycle. Effectively manage project scope by ensuring any changes to scope are documented and approved by the project sponsors and communicated broadly across IT, finance, sales & distribution functions. Documentation should include impact to the deliverables, resources, budget and timing. Ensure operating teams successfully complete the necessary training and skill demonstration at each critical milestone (e.g. u-test, i-test and go live preparation) When necessary, appropriately sunset unsuccessful or re-prioritized scope or sub-projects, capturing any key learnings. Ensure all project documents are safely archived following project completion. Develop tools and best practices for project management and execution. Train/build project management expertise across the supply chain organization. Requirements: BA/BS degree or 10 years related work experience required. Five Years in project management and 5-10 years of experience in supply chain operations (SAP preferred). Experience managing multi-functional project teams with complex scope (preferably prior experience implementing an ERP solution). Ability to manage multiple priorities under time constraints. Expert skill using project management software (MS Project preferred) to track critical milestones, resource requirements and cost. Successful track record working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment. In touch with internal and external customer requirements and able to rapidly adapt and respond to changes. Ability to elicit cooperation from senior management and other departments. (manage up and across). Leadership ability to motivate with clear communication of a vision, specific objectives, actions and measures. Ability to communicate effectively in writing, to include but not limited to project charter, technical brief and status reports.
