Role: Analyst BI Data Location: Albuquerque,NM ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Translate conceptual design specifications in close collaboration with IT and business owners, and design and develop functionally into technically sound solutions. Capture business, technical and operational requirements and create / communicate business intelligence options (ETLs, cubes, analytics). Data Modeling and Enterprise Data Warehouse Design and Operation. Developing and testing programs to extract, cleanse, transform and load from source systems into EDW and into data marts. Create and administer technical and training programs for the development of IT staff. Coach and mentor a team of technical application development resources directly supporting the companies business requests Serving as application administrator for ETL/BI tools, including installation and building scripts on the AIX/Linux/Win platforms. Developing tooling to better automate the data integration tasks. Building Management, Operational, and ad hoc reports. Develop quality control measures, testing measures, and the accuracy of data standards to support deployment of solutions for the businesses in IT. Manage and study the latest technical development technologies and utilize these to position IT development and programming techniques and methodologies to enhance IT support of the entire organization. Work with management to align these technologies according to the company goals and initiatives. Responsible for gathering and assessing business information needs and preparing data and reporting requirements. Performs analysis, development and evaluation of data mining in a data warehouse environment which includes data design, database architecture, metadata and repository creation. Uses data mining and data analysis tools. Reviews and validates data loaded into the data warehouse for accuracy. Provides technical consulting to users of the various data warehouses and advises users on conflicts and inappropriate data usage. 10.Responsible for prototyping solutions, preparing test scripts, and conducting tests and for data replication, extraction, loading, cleansing, and data modeling for data warehouses. Maintains knowledge of software tools, languages, scripts, and shells that effectively support the data warehouse environment in different operating system environments. Must have an extensive knowledge of data warehouse and data mart concepts. Develops conceptual and logical data models for building effective decision support systems scripts on the AIX/Linux/Win platforms. QUALIFICATIONS: EDUCATION Required Bachelor\\\'s degree (BA/BS) Preferred - Microsoft Developer Certification. Education and experience may be substituted for year for year basis. EXPERIENCE Required Three years of Data Warehousing and BI Analysis experience including Data Analysis, Report Writing and/or Development experience; work history of successful software design and utilization of latest technologies in Microsoft Visual Studio and SQL Server Business Intelligence Studio; Microsofts SQL server and Windows Server environment; SSRS; SSIS. Preferred - Health Care experience KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES Ability to think objectively and make sound business and technical decisions Ability to motivate, inspire, build and direct an IT development team. Effective business communication and presentation skills. Flexibility, strong interpersonal, analytical, technical and problem solving attributes.
