Individual Contributor Role.
Provide technical leadership and detail design expertise in the planning, designing, testing, implementing, and supporting various SAP components such as ECC, Business Warehouse, Global Trade Services, PI/XI, Advanced Planning and Optimization, Data Services, Business Objects, Central Process Scheduler, etc.Assists in managing the SAP support team in areas such as; development of customer support processes (internal and external), technical planning, and work coordination. Responsible for the development, execution and measurement of effective internal service level agreements.Ensures effective security, operation and peak performance of SAP environments.Participates in the establishment of the technical direction required for the IT team to meet the organizations goals.Responsible for lifecycle planning for the SAP software/hardware stacks.Recommends, implements, and assures compliance with policy and procedures affecting the SAP technology.Provide team leadership directing up to 5 to 8 on-shore and offshore BASIS resources.Manage Level 3 critical incidents for SAP technology stack to full resolution.

SAP Basis Administrator

EDUCATION:Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related disciplines. SAP Basis and Security certifications are desired.EXPERIENCE:8-10 years direct experience administrating SAP applications (i.e. SAP Basis, Portal, BW, Netweaver, etc.).Employment history must demonstrate increasing levels of responsibility.
ESSENTIAL KNOWLEDGE - SKILL REQUIREMENTS:SAP Basis and Security hands on installation and maintenance.Experience in Solution Manager and Netweaver.Multiple full life cycle implementations inclusive of green field implementations and upgrades.Technical competence in operating system, database, network, server, virtualization and storage concepts.Interpersonal and collaborative skills and the ability to communicate with other IT disciplined such as Application Development, IT Architecture, Information Security, QA / Testing, PMO and Service Desk.Basic project management and financial/budget management, scheduling and resource management skills.Ability to lead and motivate technical engineering talent.Practical problem solving skills and solid troubleshooting skills a must.Strong knowledge of system and software quality assurance best practices and methodologies.Strong customer service orientation.Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate related concepts to technical and nontechnical audiences.Highly self-motivated and directed, with keen attention to detail .
