Role: SQL Analyst Location: San Diego,CA More specific requirements: Working knowledge of MS SQL (T-SQL) and SSRS (Report Writing) 3+ years business / systems / product analysis or similar experience Energetic and solution oriented Strong analytic and problem-solving skills to review, exercise judgment and evaluate data in order to make sound decision Demonstrated ability to work effectively independently and within a collaborative team oriented environment. Motivated and self-directed, with ability to work effectively with local and distributed teams Effective oral and written communication skills. Bachelor\'s degree in related area, or equivalent combination of education and experience Insurance industry experience preferred Responsibilities: Prepare SQL queries and stored procedures based on constituent specifications Prepare reporting documents that leverage SQL stored procedures Manage business intelligence data warehouse External vendor management including requirements gathering and scheduling. Reporting integration support for new acquisitions (project plan and policy conversion) Ad hoc reporting and analysis Additional duties as assigned
