Education/Certifications Bachelors degree in accounting, finance or equivalent Masters in Accountancy or MBA a plus Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation, active or inactive is acceptable Experience Minimum of 3 years of public accounting experience which includes SEC filing clients; along with 2 plus years of industry experience. Or a minimum of 5 years of public accounting experience is required. Skills/Abilities/Competencies Effective communication (oral and written) and interpersonal skills required Clear and thorough understanding of generally accepted accounting principles, SEC, PCAOB and SOX requirements Ability to effectively research and apply results of that research Ability to work in a multi-tasked, fast-paced environment with tight deadlines Travel required Experience in MS Office suite of products
