Job Description:
Primary Duties And Responsibilities:
Perform all tasks with a customer-centric focus, weighing individual customer (internal or external) needs with the overall needs of the business.
Communicate SAP capabilities/possibilities within SD module during design workshops with business leaders and consultants.
Provides business analysis and process design expertise in the SAP SD area, with integration to Transportation Management, eWM, WM, and other systems as necessary.
Acts as the effective liaison between IT, business partners, and consulting vendors by communicating requirements, business processes, and issues.
Develops business relationships and liaises with other IT areas to ensure successful implementation and support for all project efforts.
Part of the team responsible for system configuration, unit testing, integration testing, user acceptance, and deployment.
Provides post-implementation process and application support.
Writes or reviews functional specifications for development activities as needed.
Lead small sub-projects; creates detailed project plans and project estimates.
Regularly coach other project personnel to ensure business application systems are developed in a way that complies with best practice use of SAP. Cross train other associates where and when appropriate.
Provides ongoing responsibility for system failure prevention, system problem calls and user inquiries.
Leads constant improvement opportunities and appropriately challenges processes to ensure global consistency.
Translates long-term objectives into practical solutions; networks and benchmarks to gain insights into the potential use of new tools, processes and techniques.
Foster and maintain good relationships with customers and IT colleagues
Troubleshoot complex business and technical problems.
Develop and retain relevant SAP skills including participating in user groups, training, and professional associations.
Development of standards and procedures.
Support SAP systems upgrades and life cycle management.
Performs other duties and/ or responsibilities as assigned.

Education And Experience
A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or Management Information Systems with an emphasis in a specific functional area, such as finance, operations, logistics, or sales and marketing OR in lieu of degree 10+ years of equal work experience and technical training required.
8+ years of SAP SD experience with an emphasis on design, configuration and troubleshooting required.
Experience implementing SAP in a wholesale distribution environment a plus

Comprehensive understanding of SAP’s customizing toolset
Experience with functional design of interfaces leveraging Fiori and Personas preferred
Experience in Billing, Pricing and Distribution areas preferred
EDI and interface knowledge (iDOCS) preferred
Experience with at least 2 full life cycle SAP SD implementations preferred
Ability to work independently as well as a team player required
Strong interpersonal skills; ability to work well on cross functional project teams and foster team commitment to tasks required
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with an ability to express complex business concepts in technical terms required
Strong analytical, problem solving, and conceptual skills required
