These SAP functional business analysts will work with various Business Process Architects and subject matter experts to gather and document process flows, requirements and business value drivers, and develop estimates for assigned projects. consultants will develop solutions which meet business requirements and prepare and work with Business Process Architects to present solutions to the business users to facilitate decisions selecting the best solutions for configuration, customization and process change functions. Consultants will develop solutions in coordination with other IT staff, including programmers, Basis, infrastructure, and project managers. consultants will prepare and maintain change control and validation documentation. Support continued use and maintenance of assigned modules or projects through ticket management, user instructions and identification of root causes of recurring problems or trends. Review, debug, test, and deploy customizations, interfaces or enhancements supporting assigned modules and projects. consultants will provide expertise within the SAP team and to other SAP Funtional Business Analysts, including mentoring less experienced members of the group.

Required Skills

Strong analytical and communication skills, and the ability to translate business processes or concepts into technical requirements are essential. Ability to work in a collaborative team environment and share ideas and knowledge openly. Deep understanding of computer systems validation concepts, change control procedures, and one or more modules of SAP systems; and knowledge of both configuration and customization standards are required. Ability to read and interpret process flow documentation and translate this into configuration and customization requirements is also required. Ability to test programming and interfaces is preferred, and the ability to debug programs is also preferred, but not required. Must work independently on multiple concurrent projects, and in supporting problem tickets by working with end users, subject matter experts, and Business Process Architects to gather requirements, present solutions and participate in the selection of the best solutions. Bachelor degree in Business Information Systems, Computer Science, or a relevant business discipline, combined with 7 to 10 years’ experience as a SAP Functional Business Analyst. Experience in a regulated environment is a big plus.
