BusinessIntelligence SQL Developer / Data Analyst
The DataStrategy team is seeking a veteran SQL developer skilled at using SQL toprofile data, use scripting to created cleaned, flattened, summarized datasets, and create views for BI consumption. The analyst in this role willwork hand in hand with upstream data sources to learn the location anddefinition of various data sets, create extracts to pull and transform thedata. The analyst will work with data stewards to devise strategies forcreating new data sets. The analyst will also work hand in hand with datascientists to prepare data for their needs, creating data sets targeted forspecific analyses.
Theenvironment is Teradata SQL, but there are also other data sources that areOracle and SQL Server. In general, ANSI standard SQL can be usedacross the board. Most data sets will be created in the Teradataenvironment.
• Requires excellent communicator, with strong written English, and visual /graphical representation skills
• Extremely fast paced environment, so must be assertive, self-driving, and veryquick learner
• Must be able to learn about data sets through hands-on profiling
