Title: MicroStrategy Developer

Responsibilities:
Provides technical and architectural expertise within MicroStrategy.
Defines lookup and fact table information, maps fields and tables to MicroStrategy Schema objects, and builds the relationship between the attributes, facts, and other objects
Defines Hierarchy and drill functionality within MicroStrategy.
Defines Security profiles to access the information through MicroStrategy Mobile, Web or desktop application.
Configures MicroStrategy components including Transaction Services, Enterprise Manager, Object Manager, and Command Manager.
Provides consultation on multi-dimensional BI reporting, structure and referential integrity.
Provides inputs to referential integrity checks, error handling in batch process to technology.
Develops and revises BI solutions to solve complex business analysis problems.
Collaborates with various functional business units to gather user requirements in order to document the design of BI deliverables (reports, dashboards, alerts, visualizations).
Adheres to the Agile IT processes and standards and ensures standards, industry best Performs integrated testing of all functions and components of the developed architecture/solution to ensure accuracy and effectiveness.
Works closely with technical team to ensure functional requirements translate completely and correctly into the technical design.
Coordinates between other IT areas to maintain maximum efficiency of application systems.
Specifies and configures the automated delivery of business intelligence documents (reports, dashboards, alerts).
Plans, organizes, controls and executes the architectural needs of projects of varying complexity, delivering them within specified timeframes and budget.
Organizes, directs, and assists development efforts of others as needed. May plan, organize, and control large dashboards delivery.
Researches and responds to user questions about report and dashboard functions or interdependencies/interrelationships of source data.
Job Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience required.
3 or more years of HealthCare experience including knowledge of healthcare business metrics and how they relate to reporting development preferred, not required.
Minimum of 3 years of related work experience in business analysis delivering enterprise wide critical BI solutions required.
Minimum of 5 years MicroStrategy development experience including report development, complex metrics development, Dashboards, Narrowcast, Office, Web, Distribution Services, User Security and Administration, Transactional Services, Data marts, Visual Insight, Report and Dashboard performance tuning required.
Extensive experience developing reports, dashboards, and cubes in MicroStrategy version 9+ and experience with Mobile preferred.
Understanding of Data warehousing, BI concepts and ability to provide both logical and physical data modeling required.
Advanced analytical, assessment, data modeling and data mart design skills, with the ability to synthesize data from various sources and perform various types of data analysis required.
Ability to effectively work in various capacities as needed including leading work teams, functioning as a team member, or individually required.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills required.
MicroStrategy MCE or MCEP Certified Professional preferred.
