Job Title : MicroStrategy developer Location: Hartford,CT Duration: 18+ Months Scope & Responsibilities · Partner with architecture and database developers to create conceptual designs and detailed technical specifications for MicroStrategy solutions. · Design and construct projects for efficient ad-hoc reporting capabilities. · Design & construct grid/graphs, documents & dashboards according to requirements in a timely manner. · Managing promotion of projects/objects through the development, test and production processes · Troubleshooting support tickets for operational issues · Ability to manage performance monitoring and tuning of the environments Required Skills · Minimum 5+ years of experience in MicroStrategy development (MicroStrategy 9 or greater). · Must have 5+ years of working in a data warehousing environment, MicroStrategy project development, complex report development, dashboards, performance tuning, and Oracle 10g or greater. · Bachelor degree in computer science or related area. · Must have Excellent Comm. Skills. Preferred Skills · Exposure with the below technologies will be considered a plus: Crystal reports, Business Objects 3.x or greater, PL/SQL development and Windows server skills.
