Business Intelligence Developer - Microstrategy
Location: Irvine, CA
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
- Create basic and advanced reports, dashboards, and scorecards using MicroStrategy.
- Ability to translate business reporting requirements into a production report.
- Create report mockups and templates from business requirements when necessary.
- Understand and query disparate database sources, including relational structures, dimensional data marts/models and cubes.
- Work collaboratively in a small, cross-functional team.
- Interface with, and understand analytical reporting needs of the business stakeholder.
- BA/BS Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, Finance, Accounting, or related discipline and or experience
- Minimum 4 years of experience in MicroStrategy report development.
- Minimum 4 years of experience writing SQL procedures and queries.
- Computer Skills
- Strong experience with writing SQL queries in SQL Server (or equivalent)
- Experience with Excel, Word, Visio, PowerPoint
- Experience working with MicroStrategy and SQL Server
