Title: MicroStrategy Consultant Location: Princeton Pike, NJ Duration: 6+ months Summary The clientis seeking a senior Microstrategy Architect who will participate in the Client Data Warehouse model reviews, assess current Microstrategy environment and oversee development of global analytical tools. The candidate will establish best practices for the Microstrategy team and assist in developing strategy to improve the adoption of the Microstrategy analytical stack. They are expected to work closely with global cross functional teams and assist in setting up data governance processes in our commercial self-service business intelligence platform. Responsibilities Review and approve Client Data Warehouse models aimed for use in MicroStrategy analysis and reporting. Improve team effectiveness by ensuring that the MicroStrategy capabilities are being fully leveraged Recommend and provide technical assistance on future enhancements, such as MicroStrategy version upgrades, project rollouts, architecture modifications, and new reports. Design and implement Intelligent Cubes for ad hoc analysis. Create / validate internal training materials to support onboarding and adoption of new MicroStrategy users. Optimize application performance and assist in resolving technical issues. Coordinates the software development lifecycle with vendor partners. Validate system testing strategy for release of new capabilities, versions or data assets including regression testing, system integration testing and user acceptance testing. Lead new POC efforts to explore capabilities and integrations of the BI Platform. Requirements Certified MicroStrategy v10+ Architect Experience with installation and configuration of MicroStrategy components including MicroStrategy Desktop, Administrator, Intelligent Server and Web. 10 years of MicroStrategy experience including experience designing schema objects 5 years of experience in the pharmaceutical or medical industry a huge plus Data Warehouse experience with development of logical and physical data models Experience with Amazon Web Services, and or other SQL programming (Redshift, MySQL, PostGreSQL, SQL Workbench, etc Experience with other analytical packages or data manipulation languages (Tableau, SAS, R, Python) and integration of these with Microstrategy Must have strong interpersonal skills and excellent verbal and written communication skills
