Design, development, and documentation (2D and 3D) of components and subsystems related to electronic gaming machines (i.e. slot machines) Design of sheet metal brackets/cabinets, die castings, injection moulding for electronic gaming machines. Implementation of good design practices such as tolerance Analysis, FEA, DFMEA, DFx to ensure a design that is reliable, manufacturable, testable, serviceable, safe in operation, comply with relevant legislation. Facilitate the on-time delivery of mechanical designs that meet or exceed product requirements and customer expectations. Provide support to suppliers, product testing as needed to ensure the project gets completed on-time with high quality. Hands on assembly of prototypes and debugging of prototypes. Support sustaining projects as required Required Skills Participate in local and multi-site initiatives to improve department processes and technologies Assess supplier capabilities Proficient in 3D MCAD. Solidworks preferred Required Experience 5 years of experience in mechanical engineering Demonstrated success as a design engineer
