- Has an exciting opportunity for the position of Chief Operations Officer (COO).
- The COO directs the functions of referral services, recovery, and processing.
- This is a top level position reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer and will be part of the senior leadership group.
- We have an amazing team of extremely competent managers and staff in place to handle the day to day operations.
- You will be charged with ensuring that the departments have the proper resources and talent to maintain and grow amidst the many challenges and opportunities that face modern eye and tissue banking.
- You must have strong communication skills, management acumen, and leadership abilities in order to be successful in this role.
- This is a position for someone who is passionate about doing things well and never being satisfied with the status quo.
- Candidates for the COO position must demonstrate a strong background in health care management.
- This includes strategic planning and change management, budgeting, operational streamlining, coaching and performance improvement.
- Experience working in an environment where grief and/or trauma stewardship and its accompanying emotionally charged situations occur will be helpful for successful candidates.
- A strong understanding of functioning within a regulated environment must be demonstrated.
