Job Description
- Responsible for administering network storage capabilities on diverse vendor platforms (EMC, NetApp, HP, Dell) and administering server backups using CommVault on large classified and unclassified network enterprises.
- Assists the government with storage and backups planning, setup, deployment, upgrade, maintenance and migration of large network enterprises.
- Provides technical expertise in troubleshooting storage and backups incidents, resolving issues based on mission priorities and working with storage/backups vendors to obtain support as required. Supports the remediation of network vulnerabilities.
Job Requirements
- These positions require the candidate to have or be able to obtain a security clearance at the Secret level; in order to obtain a clearance you need to be a US Citizen and show proof of citizenship.
- An active Secret clearance is highly desirable.
- Must be certified in accordance with DoD 8570 IAT Level II approved baseline certifications prior to start date (Security+ CE, CCNA-Security, etc.)
- Major storage vendor administrative experience, enterprise backups administrative experience and VMWare/Windows Server administrative experience are required.
- NetApp Certified Data Management Administrator (NCDA), EMC Information Storage and Management Associate (EMCISA), Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA) and VMWare Certified Professional (VCP) certifications are preferred.
