Sr. User Experience (UX) Designer Loc : Rockville, MD

Budget $: 100,000 - 200,000

Responsibilities:

  • Create concept based wireframes and mockups designed to for intuitive user experiences.
  • Facilitate researching, conceiving, wireframing, sketching, prototyping, and mocking up unified user experiences across various application modules of the system.
  • Design and deliver wireframes, user stories and mockups optimized for a wide range of devices and interfaces.
  • Identify design problems and devise elegant solutions.
  • Make strategic design and user-experience decisions related to core, and new, functions and features.
  • Take a user-centered design approach and rapidly test and iterate your designs.
  • Collaborate with other team lead, team members and stakeholders.
Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree and 7 years of design or related experience or the equivalent combination of education and training that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities.
  • Experience designing complex solutions for complete digital environments.
  • Expertise in UX software such as InVision, UXPin, Sketch, Balsamiq, Moqups, Omnigraffle and the like is a must. HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript skills are a plus.
  • Ability to work with clients to understand detailed requirements and design complete user experiences that meet client needs and vision.
  • Extensive experience in using UX design best practices and heuristic evaluations to design solutions.
  • A solid grasp of user-centered design and testing methodologies, subsystems, usability and accessibility concerns.
  • Ability to efficiently iterate your designs and solutions.
  • Ability to communicate design processes, ideas, and solutions to teams and clients.
  • A clear understanding of the importance of user-centered responsive design.
  • Must be able to provide a portfolio of samples of work.
  • Be passionate about all things UX and other areas of design and innovation.
  • Research and showcase knowledge in the industrys latest trends and technologies.
  • Candidates must have lived in the United States for at least 3 out of the last 5 years to meet the clearance requirements.
