- The IT Analyst EDI develops and maintains EDI maps within the IBM Sterling B2B Integrator (SBI) application or Gentran application.
- The IT Analyst EDI develops Sterling B2B Integrator business processes using BPML (Business Process Markup Language).
- The IT Analyst EDI collaborates with application functional teams, customers, vendors, financial institutions, carriers, internal business members (i.e. customer service and transportation/logistics), and other stakeholders to identify customer requirements,
- Assess impact/scope of request, coordinate with impacted application owners, compare costs and benefits, recommend solutions and manage a project/task through completion.
- The IT Analyst EDI monitors production support activities to ensure that all data is processed inbound from trading partners through to applicable applications and all data handed off from Scotts applications is received and processed by trading partners.
- The IT Analyst EDI moves maps and business processes to production after proper testing and business approvals.
- Minimum of 2 years of EDI experience using IBM Sterling B2B Integrator software products and UNIX in the consumer products industry.
- In lieu of IBM Sterling B2B Integrator, other EDI mapping software experience or experience developing using other programming languages will be considered.
- Production Support minimum of 2 years experience with addressing help desk issues in areas of expertise and assisting with user problems in associated areas specifically in the EDI space.
- Experience with using a value add network (VAN) for EDI communication with partners.
