Location:Signal Hill, CA,

Roles And Responsibilities

  • Conduct requirements analysis, maintain requirement repositories, and ensure the solution meets the requirements as the subject matter expert through implementation.
  • Conduct requirement review sessions in order to validate requirements with project stakeholders.
  • Ensure that analysis artifacts follow established standards and processes.
  • Review and approve high-level designs, functional specifications, user interface designs and test cases.
  • Provide implementation support by attending defect and UAT meetings and participating in launch activities.
  • I dentify issues and risks, and handle and communicate them in a manner that mitigates risk to quality, timeline and scope.
  • Ability to lead and manage multiple projects simultaneously, along with a heavy workload in a demanding environment.
  • Ability to work cooperatively with a wide variety of users and/or customers with varying demands, expectations, and levels of technical knowledge.
  • Ability to develop and deliver clearly understood presentations and write clear, precise, detailed, persuasive materials, including correspondence, reports, technical documents, policies, procedures and presentations.
  • Ability to work after normal business hours, weekends, and respond to emergency calls as necessary and when appropriate.
Education/ Experience

  • BS degree in computer science, systems engineering or IT-related discipline
  • 10+ years of experience in the IT field.
Preferred Skills

  • 5+ years in Project Management
  • 10+ years experience in Oracle RDBMS, Java language and Oracle BI tools.
  • A Mix of system analysis, system development and quality assurance experience.
  • Strong understanding of software architectures for enterprise applications.
  • Demonstrated success in leading small teams.
  • Experience with formal SDLC processes.
