Job Details:

• Design the architecture for the system development environments and instances
  
• Take a lead role on the team tasked with procuring hardware, system software, and data center co-location space
• Take a lead role on the team tasked with developing an approach to security, disaster recovery, and failover
  
• Define and develop database backup and recovery strategies
• Develop an approach for patch management and object migration
• Establish standards that all databases will follow (e.g., naming, configuration, etc.)Plan, coordinate, and administrator database systems, including base definition, structure, documentation, requirements, operational guidelines and protection
  
• Develop, support and maintenance of the Oracle Financials environments including current production, the migration of production from a Windows platform to Linux, and the upgrade from 11i to R12Develop data models and perform planning of architecture, functions, modules, recovery, standards and implementation
• Work with internal customers to develop new value-added programs and data solutions with existing data warehouse structure
• Act as liaison with internal customers Tests designed applications Analyzes and determines information needs and elements, data relationships and attributes, data flow and storage requirements, and data output and reporting capabilities
  
• Research and evaluate alternatives and recommend solutions for business issues
• Create ad-hoc reports utilizing various data sources
• Maintain current knowledge of relevant technologies
• Participates in continuous improvement efforts in enhancing performance and providing increased functionality

• BS/BA in Business, Computer Science, or related degree
• At least 4 years experience programming in using tools such as VB, C++, HTML, SQL, ASP, SOA, BPEL, Oracle Middleware), Java, or other languages/technologies.
• 4 years of strong Oracle Architecture Design5 years hands-on experience with Oracle E-Business
• 7 years experience with Oracle database and ERP implementation or upgrade projects
• 7 years experience with platforms such as LINUX, UNIX, Windows, or other operating systems
• 5 years experience with monitoring tools like iostat, sar, vmstat, top, netstat, ipcs
• 5 years experience with version Control tools like PVCS Tracker, Visual Source Safe, and Remedy
• 5 years experience with experience with; Oracle Application Server 10g, Concurrent Managers, Oracle Forms 10g, AD
