RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide technical ownership of SAP BW end to end solutions.
- Aligns with the core BI Solutions Architecture team to ensure SAP BW architecture is accounted for with pro-active capacity planned, upgrade and patching management, and a rolling 36 month lifecycle roadmap.
- Execute change management processes surrounding new releases of SAP BW.
- Provide all levels of technical and application support; incident management (Level 1, 2 and 3); address user, application and data issues.
- Monitor and maintain system and application availability.
- Provide troubleshooting and issue resolution task as needed.
- Strong knowledge of SAP BW and SAP front-end tools including: SAP BI in Modeling, Reporting, BEX Analyzer, Query Designer.
- Knowledge in SAP BO universe modeling and optimization scenarios including Hybrid source systems.
- Experience with BOBJ Reporting tools specifically on WEBI, Dashboards & Crystal reports is added advantage.
- Knowledge and hands on writing SQL scripts, User exits, should have ABAP knowledge, ABAP Debugging experience.
- Provide architectural recommendations and support for advanced analytic tools such as mobile, visualizations, multi-sourcing etc.
- Provide support for development issues related to architecture and/or performance.
- Support user, performance and regression testing efforts.
- Mentor, coach, and train fellow associates in technical and business competency growth.
- Keep current on emerging trends and best practices in Information Delivery, BI tools and technologies.
- Good Coordination skills between onsite and offshore teams ensure deliverables are met.
- The job will also require on-call support responsibility.
- Accomplished hands-on end to end SAP BW architecture & development experience in all phases of SDLC; (design, build implementation, support).
- 3+ years SAP BW Developer in designing & building business warehouse.
- End-to-end complete-life-cycle implementation extracting data from SAP and non-SAP systems with SAP-BW while designing ETL, data-model and reporting layer.
- Strong SQL skills, knowledge of OLAP methodologies & strong working knowledge of advance ABAP.
- Solid understanding of Data Warehousing and Business Intelligence reporting and information delivery concepts.
- Experience working with SAP Finance, Retail, Material Management (MM), FICO.
- Provide technical ownership of Business Objects end to end solutions (nice to have).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Excellent written/oral communication skills
