Role: Sr. Software Engineer, Data Integration (SSIS) Location: Arlington,VA Responsibilities Extensively involved in the data warehouse data staging and data integration domains that receive data/message from insurance companies, hospitals, EMRs, labs, pharmacies, HIE, other data warehouses and other healthcare ecosystem 3rd parties. Will design, develop, test and maintain EDI, HL7, XML, NCPDP, flat file and other custom data interchange processes. Design and develop processes on Microsoft SSIS and Orion Rhapsody message processing engines. Analyze, recommend process improvements and coordinate with clients and other departments to resolve all issues effectively. Document and maintain documentation of all processes and solutions for system development life cycle. Work with other departments to ensure projects are delivered on time. Will need to work on multiple projects simultaneously. Required Bachelors Degree Required 8+ or more years of hands-on experience in a data integration environment part of applications platform development. Must have a solid understanding of SQL query writing and relational database systems Experience in some type of an EDI tool set is required Preferred Knowledge in healthcare domain and Healthcare IT data integration. Experience in medical, pharmacy, provider and laboratory domains is a plus Must have a good understanding of SQL and relational database systems. Experience with Microsoft SQL Server and ETL tools such as SSIS is needed. Experience in various data formats used in healthcare - NCPDP, HL7, X12 and XML Should be able to handle multiple projects simultaneously Should be able to document system specifications, processes flows and business processes in the Data Integration environment Should have excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills Ability to work in a fast paced startup environment with small focused team of engineers to deliver solutions
