The SAP Functional Business Analyst will work with the business leaders, process owners, technical architects, consultants as well as other areas of the company to identify and analyze business process issues and to evaluate the potential application of new or modified technology solutions and or processes. Essential responsibilities include SAP Requirements Definition, Documentation and Realization. Business Process Documentation and Design. Facilitation of process improvements and new processes. Facilitation of issue resolution with impacted organizations. Coordination of testing and end-user acceptance. User training and development of training materials. Integration support into other areas of SAP. Review and approve final documentation and test procedures for complex applications and programs. Provides technical expertise in identifying, evaluating and developing systems and procedures that are cost effective and meet user requirements. Configures system settings and options; plans and executes unit, integration and acceptance testing; and creates specifications for systems to meet business requirements. Designs details of automated systems. May participate with cross-functional linked teams to address business or system issues. Note: may be internal or external, client-focused, working in conjunction with Professional Services and outsourcing functions. Respond to system transactional production support issues and provide resolution support. Required experience and skills include Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Business, Mathematics, Engineering or other related area. 2 plus years supporting custom developed SAP solutions, including troubleshooting, testing and resolution of defects. Technology experience in a least one of the following SAP modules: SD, MM, LE, or PP. 3 plus years using advanced Microsoft Office Suite. Strong troubleshooting experience required. Highly organized with a strong attention to detail. Outstanding business acumen. Experience with SAP CRM. Proven experience through at least one (1) full life cycle implementation of SAP ECC. Strong knowledge of integration points with MM/PP/QM/SD. Advanced knowledge of integration points with all other areas of SAP and external applications including CRM B2B and B2C. Basic understanding of SAP enhancements (user exits), BADIS, BAPIS and DDIC elements relevant to SD. Prior experience with EDI and SAP IDocs a plus.
