THE ESSENTIALS Define new features & entirely new products Collect and analyze usage trends through interviews, analytics, usability testing, participatory design workshops, lab studies and surveys Synthesize qualitative and quantitative data to derive personas, use cases, concepts, user journeys and information architecture Understand and incorporate complex technical and business requirements into compelling UX design Deliver great information architecture, navigation design, screen layout and interaction design Collaborate with product management, visual design and development teams Create UI specifications and annotated wireframes Work with product management to design, conduct and report on user-testing sessions Educate the product and development teams on best practice design principles. Continuously inform technical and non-technical teams about user feedback and its impact on product design and features THE QUALIFIERS A minimum of 5 years\' experience in UX design, information architecture or equivalent function Mobile app design experience is a must - you should have at least one well-distributed app under your belt for iOS, Android or both platforms Understanding responsive web design in addition to apps is a huge advantage Experience leading user testing sessions & building surveys for consumer feedback Proficiency in Omnigraffle, Photoshop and prototyping tools like Invision Organized, detail oriented and highly collaborative work style Great communication skills Bachelors Degree or equivalent
