Duties and Responsibilities: Develops new systems, applications, and processes which provide financial and operational decision-support solutions to company-wide users. Develops solutions to implement previously defined and documented requirements. Teams with internal customers to gather user requirements and outline desired application needs. Assesses obtained business requirements and translates into the appropriate technical design for BI, Warehouse and other applications. Serves as a point of contact for customer issues; provides timely responses/solutions to problems as needed. Assesses current systems and provides solutions for improvements to increase efficiency and effectiveness for customers. Understands and implements best practices for BI applications. Conducts user training sessions in order to successfully roll out new products and services. Supports the daily production and usage of current BI&A systems and applications. Upgrades BI applications tools such as Microstrategy and Informatica. Carries out routine audit and performance checks to ensure system relevancy and accuracy. Provides back-up and recovery services for BI applications. Works on strategic projects; including but not limited to, the new development of Reporting, Dashboard, Scorecard, and Mobile Initiatives. Minimum Requirements Work Experience/ Education: 5+ years experience in MS SQL Development, 2008 or better 5+ Data Warehousing required (Architecting level a PLUS Must have 3+ years of experience with ETL tool Informatica Teradata SQL Development experience a PLUS MUST HAVE SOLID Client Facing and Communication skills
