Responsibilities:
The SAP PP/QM Analyst is responsible for supporting the SAP PP/QM modules. He/she will possess extensive knowledge & hands on experience in all aspects of SAP QM, Strong SAP PP knowledge in Master data (Task Lists, Inspection Characteristics, & Methods), and Knowledge of interfaces supporting QM/PP, QM/MM, QM/SD, QM/PM and batch jobs.
The SAP PP/QM Analyst is responsible for working with the rest of the organization to help define both operational procedure and SAP process related to Production Planning and Quality Management. Deep process knowledge in both production and quality management with a focus on Aerospace & Defense is required.
The SAP PP/QM Analyst must be able to define, build and maintain the SAP configuration necessary to support business scenarios and processes for PP/QM.
The SAP PP/QM Analyst is responsible for staying abreast of internal business processes and systems necessary to support the break fix and enhancement processes.
The SAP PP/QM Analyst will both participate in and lead SAP implementations and upgrades. The Analyst must have at least four years SAP experience and participated in two or more full-lifecycle SAP implementations and upgrades.
The SAP PP/QM Analyst will be required to interact with all levels of the company to ensure the SAP system meets the needs of the organization. Analyst will meet regularly with internal customers to capture concerns, new requirements and respond to evolving reporting needs as the organization matures. Good communication skills are required.
The SAP PP/QM Analyst will contribute to the creation of new policies and procedures and perform other duties as assigned by Management.
Skills/Requirements:
Bachelors degree in IT, IS Computer Science or related degree
Broad general knowledge of the SAP functional applications and business requirements and relevant business experience in the Aerospace & Defense industry.
A minimum of 4+ years of SAP PP/QM configuration / support experience in ERP 6.0 or above.
In addition to deep knowledge of SAP PP/QM processes, Marvin Engineering desires a candidate who has fluency in other SAP ECC modules (MM, SD, PS or FI/CO) and can potentially manage multiple processes. Capability to manage multiple processes will be viewed as a significant plus.
At least 2 full life cycle implementations and production support experience.
Ability to handle, prioritize and resolve a pipeline of tickets, categorizing between break-fix and enhancements, etc.
SAP hands-on experience in SAP Production Planning and Quality Management:
Experience with core PP/QM Processes activities.
A broad functional knowledge of supporting PP/QM processes, such as:
Quality Planning
Quality Inspection
Quality Control Certificates
Notifications
Batch Management concepts using QM classification
Ability to facilitate discussion, capture stakeholder requirements and implement SAP process changes:
Ability to work closely with company employees to find solutions and identify business process improvements.
Ability to analyze functional and technical needs to identify gaps and alternative solutions to existing design.
Ability to evaluate impact of configuration or process changes across PP/QM and other SAP modules.
Ability to resolve configuration and functional business issues across PP/QM and other processes.
Ability to write detailed functional system specs to support PP/QM processes as well as document as-is system.
Ability to perform unit and integration testing
Ability to design and maintain interfaces
Basic ABAP programming knowledge, preferably with debugging skills
Familiarity with SAP work flow
In addition to SAP knowledge, Marvin views broad knowledge of application and database management as a significant plus. Candidates are encouraged to discuss experience with other systems and tools used to support their respective organizations.
Experience in a structured process for system change request, review, build, test implementation
Strong communication, both written and verbal, and strong interpersonal skills.
Strong analytical and problem solving skills, with the ability to multi-task.
