• The SAP Basis Lead has responsibilities for the following projects:SAP system troubleshooting and problem solving, as well as day-to-day monitoring and administration of SAP systemsProvide recommendations and guidance for the tuning and optimization of our SAP landscape.Participate in periodic reviews, audits and updates to the hosting standards, process controls and technologiesEstablish operational discipline through the application of best practice policies and procedures for the SAP operations areaDesign and document security administration policies and procedures for the production environment and train the Helpdesk to perform basic operations tasks on SAPCreate and maintain documentation related to production batch jobsSpool and Printer administrationWork with SAP hosting provider to upgrade existing instances and install new instances across all platformsHelp apply the Disaster Recovery procedures to the SAP InstallationsConfigure and execute SAP change control functions across our instancesOn-site and on-call

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelors Degree or equivalent preferredThree or more years of related SAP Basis experienceExperience in managing SAP environment changes and upgrades.
• Demonstrated customer service skills/attitudeStrong organizational and interpersonal skillsStrong work ethic and a commitment to information technology excellenceDemonstrated ability to author technical specifications, presentations, and other documentationHistory of successfully completed engagements
