Senior Drupal Web Developer (Contract) Berwyn, PA Currently looking for a Senior Drupal Web Developer to interface with business clients to capture business requirements, provide specifications, design web business solutions and coordinate projects through delivery, including maintenance planning. Facilitates the development teamâ??s responsibilities with application development, testing and documentation. Coordinates the work of the development team to implement projects on time and within scope. Develops web applications and content utilizing ASP, HTML, and XML. JavaScript, VB Script and other identified primary web technologies and tools. Essential Job Functions & Responsibilities: This position is responsible for the areas: â?¢ Web design: o Proficient in front-end web technologies such as HTML, CSS and Javascript. o Keep abreast of emerging technologies such as HTML5, CSS3 and jQuery as well as industry trends such as responsive web design and mobile-first design implementation. â?¢ Web development Provide development expertise in building new and supporting existing web applications. o Proficient in server-side technologies such as PHP, ASP, ASP.NET as well as the Drupal content management system/framework. o Also perform basic database architecture and design tasks. Familiar with SQL Server 2000+, MySQL 5+ and Oracle database servers. â?¢ Business and Systems Analysis o Work closely with stakeholders to gather and document business requirements. o Work with development team members to architect a technology and business process solution to meet the needs of the business. o Communicate with stakeholders and development team, as well as external consultants, to ensure that requirements are being satisfied. â?¢ Lead or participate in other projects or duties. Qualifications Education & Training: â?¢ Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience. Work Experience: â?¢ 8+ years working as an ASP, PHP or Drupal developer â?¢ Has focused on the system architecture and not the content of company material, uses experience with a variety of network technologies to lead internal and external clients with Internet-, intranet-, or extranet-based applications, including but not limited to ASP, PHP, Java, XML, HTML, CGI, and Drupal CMS. â?¢ Should have experience with SQL database interactions and data modeling tools. â?¢ Researches, tracks and understands new web technologies to provide technical leadership in developing service applications and analyzing business requirements as they pertain to intranet and external Internet-related systems. â?¢ Builds applications using Internet and Windows Development tools. â?¢ Provides written design documents, test plans and test results. â?¢ Manages, develops, integrates and implements related applications components, including front-end development, server-side development and database integration. â?¢ Plays a direct role in programming, maintenance, technical support, documentation and administration of the applications. â?¢ Establishes and communicates standards to manage cost and ensure continuity of applications. â?¢ Work with outside vendors/agencies when developing tests to ensure feature functionality. â?¢ Ability to apply professional concepts and experience to evaluate identifiable factors in order to resolve a wide range of issues in creative ways. â?¢ Ability to work without supervision.
