Responsibilities:
Provide hands-on development expertise for projects, enhancements and bug-fixes
Support ongoing maintenance, issue management, issue analysis, and issue resolution
Interact and collaborate with business stakeholders at all levels of the organization to support Salesforce.com application roadmap and projects
Provide technical knowledge and expertise for Salesforce.com application solutions and be accountable for the deliverables
Identify and proactively communicate potential issues or risks with system landscape and act as an escalation point for the technical issues
Ability to provide guidance on design and infrastructure, to identify gaps between current and desired end-states to deliver an end-to-end solution
Work with implementation partners and vendor support, in conjunction with our global team where necessary, for project deployments and critical operational issues.
Be comfortable with meetings and presentations for a variety of audiences throughout the development life cycle
Work closely with business stakeholders and their delegates to gather, understand and document functional and non-functional requirements
Analyze requirements and recommend technical solutions to the Salesforce Development manager, that meet business needs as well as leverage CRM and Salesforce.com platform best practices
Work closely with IT project managers to plan project schedule, estimate resource requirements, schedule development tasks and plan deployment activities
Develop, manage and maintain change management documentation to comply with IT change management processes
Stay current with emerging CRM and Salesforce.com enhancements and find opportunities to recommend innovations to the team and our business sponsors
Desired Skills and Experience
Qualifications:
5 plus years experience with developing on the Salesforce platform
Hands on experience working with Salesforce.com CRM applications including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud/Agent Console, Marketing Cloud, Communities/Sites, Application and Data Integrations
Solid understanding of Force.com platform architecture, object model and best practices
Demonstrated experience in performing gap-analysis between business requirements and Salesforce.com out of the box capabilities
Experience with click-configuration including creating Custom objects, Relationships, Page layouts, Workflows, Approval Processes, Reports, Dashboards and Security
Experience in configuring Sales Cloud, Service Cloud and Marketing Cloud (Fuel) applications
Experience in configuring and developing LiveAgent Chat and Salesforce.com Knowledge
Experience in extending out of the box Salesforce.com capabilities with Visual Force, Java-Script, Apex controllers, and Triggers
Demonstrated ability to partner effectively with business stakeholders at all levels of the organization to support Salesforce implementation projects
Experience in web-based systems architecture, service-based architecture, and enterprise application architecture
