Responsibilities: POSITION COMPETENCIES: Critical: Experience in developing one or more commercial applications preferred. Proficiency with multiple technologies, platforms, network communication protocols, and techniques. Knowledge of current software design practices, including modularity, event-driven architecture, object-oriented design, multimedia techniques and asset management, interface design, localization, portability, extensibility, and testability. Well versed in C/C++, implementation and debugging techniques Significant experience developing with QT UI framework on Windows Platform required. Experience with Delphi Object Pascal preferred. Experience with 3D graphics programming and OpenGL a plus. Understands cross platform issues and has the ability to pick up a new platform easily. Cultural: Fosters teamwork and requires little direction from manager and/or senior team members. Good communication skills. Good project planning and estimating skills; able to keep project moving through daily obstacles, and asks for additional assistance when appropriate. Self-motivated; works with minimal supervision. Recognizes problems and helps the group adapt to changing conditions. Qualifications: B.S. in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
