ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Participate in the planning of recruitment needs;
  • Participate in weekly meetings with management to ensure adequate follow-up on the needs of various teams;
  • Obtain information from internal clients (managers) to outline the profiles of desired candidates (requirements and crucial skills, etc.);
  • Compose/modify job descriptions and postings (internal and external) in French and English;
  • Analyze the resumes received through different recruitment sources and perform a preselection (sort CVs by skills, phone interviews);
  • Meet with potential candidates in one-on-one interviews;
  • Perform a proactive search for candidates by using social media and the various tools at your disposal;
  • Manage and coordinate CVs coming through external sources (specialized recruitment agencies) for contractual positions.
  • Enter and update all data in various human resources systems;
  • In collaboration with managers and the recruiting team, coordinate final interviews, reference checks, and security background verifications, and prepare and present job offers to applicants;
  • Maintain records and dashboard on statistics related to staffing activities;
  • Support HR team in their daily administrative tasks.

 

TECHNICAL QUALIFICATION AND EDUCATION

EXPERIENCE:

  • 5 to 7 years of experience in recruitment (manufacturing environment and/or engineering)
  • Advanced knowledge in engineering sector (asset).

OTHER REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE:

  • Advanced knowledge of all Microsoft Office applications;
  • Excellent French and English grammar.
