Role:Senior Financial Analyst Location: Marietta, OH Primary Responsibilities: Coordinate with all levels of management to gather, analyze, and communicate recommendations regarding financial plans and operating forecasts. Model financial impact of Divisional / Corporate initiatives such as supplier rationalizations, inventory reduction programs, and low cost region sourcing and ensure these are built into the Annual Operating Plan. Continuously monitor and investigate volatility in the Marietta costing system and recommend solutions to improve the accuracy of costing across all product lines. Prepare weekly and monthly financial reports detailing performance of key business metrics and underlying business drivers causing variances to expected results. Assist with month-end close responsibilities. Actively participate in and lead initiatives to improve execution and operational performance. Assist with development and presentation of monthly site review and Annual Operating Plan. Monthly revenue, cost, and expense analysis including volume/mix analysis and variance explanations. Monthly review and analysis of inventory and development of forecast and measurement processes to drive inventory optimization and minimization of excess and obsolete (E&O) expense. Support capital expenditure (CapEx) requisition preparation and analysis. Other responsibilities as assigned. Non-Negotiable Hiring Criteria: Bachelors Degree in Finance or Accounting. Demonstrated in-depth functional knowledge. Excellent computer skills, especially in MS Excel. Experienced user with an ERP application (SAP, Baan, JDE, other) Demonstrates strong customer focus, a high level of integrity, and capable of developing robust relationships across the site and the larger organization. Willingness and ability to learn new concepts and dig into large data sets Desired Qualifications and Experience: 2-3 years of experience in a complex manufacturing environment. Ability to build complex financial models. Ability to communicate effectively (written and verbal) with all levels in the organization. Ability to work cross-functionally with individuals and teams. Proven record of successful (PPI) process improvement actions. Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to multi-task. Prior experience with Oracle HFM. Prior experience with SAP.
