The position is responsible for architecting, designing, building and supporting our Oracle Fusion Middleware (FMW) Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) running under LINUX systems, including the Storage Area Networks, currently PURE & EMC, as well as the VMware virtual cluster. This position will be responsible for server builds, capacity planning, tuning, monitoring, production support, etc., of both the LINUX systems and storage systems. The position reports to the Director, IT Operations & Infrastructure and is a part of the Operations team. After hour and weekend support is required. Build, configure & performance tune Oracle FMW/SOA servers. Configure & performance tune Storage Arrays. Utilize monitoring tools to proactively identify problems with systems & applications. Aggressively manage problems to resolution and participates in root cause analysis. Originates and participates in change management made to the environment and applications. Ability to develop shell scripts to accomplish redundant tasks to simplify distributed administration. Follow / enforce processes needed to maintain operational stability, e.g. change control. Coordinate and facilitate activities with vendors and escalation support teams. Define new monitoring procedures and continually review existing procedures for relevance. Execute, create and update standard operating procedures (SOPs). Serve as the incident management lead role in technical resolution trouble shooting and remediation. Ability to work a 24 x 7 rotational support (on call). Desired Skills and Experience Required Skills: WebLogic 10.x administration in Oracle Linux or Red Hat Linux environment. Experience in Weblogic administration: HA expert according to SOA Enterprise Deployment Guide, clustering, load balancing, managed server migration, LDAP configuration, creation of data sources, JMS destinations, securing web services using OWSM, performance tuning, monitoring, load balancing, scaling, cloning tools. Oracle RDBMS 10g/11g installation, Oracle RCU execution, DB monitoring, DB purging according to SOA Enterprise Deployment Guide. Unix/Linux shell, WLST scripting. Oracle EBS on Linux or Windows. LINUX authentication via MS Active Directory. Cisco UCS. BigIP Load Balancer & SSL. Windows administration and SQL server. Experience with Control-M or other job scheduling systems.
