Budget $: 100K (more based on exp)

Responsibilities Independently manage a small technical team (2-4 members) Through application of project management principles, analyze and manage all aspects of research/technology programs including definition, budgeting, implementation, and follow-up Transfer products/processes/technology to production in a documented and efficient manner Support operations/engineering as it relates to products, processes and technology Establish a profound or broad knowledge in specific competencies, recognized both internally and externally to Thin Film Products Serve as a role model and coach for Thin Film Products technical staff As part of cross-functional teams, generate proposals for new products, technologies, and methodologies Desired Skills and Experience Education and Experience: Advanced degree in Ceramic Science/ Engineering or Chemistry/ Chemical Engineering or equivalent experience 8+ years experience in the development and manufacturing of advanced ceramics and/or chemical products Practical experience in (ceramic) powder metallurgy, suspension rheology and in ceramic manufacturing processess such as: milling, spray drying, molding/shaping, and cintering in a manufacturing or industrial environment Professional experience in powder/suspension treatment and characterization or powder and grandulate is an advantage Solid understanding of ceramic manufacturing processes and related equipment / tools Open minded for pragmatic approaches and solutions Project management experience in interdisciplinary teams and in an international environment Leadership experience in R&D environment
