Jobtitle : Functional PeopleSoft HCM Lead (Grants) Location : Oakland,CA Duration : 12+ Months Contract We seek a PeopleSoft Academic Pay Consultant who will lead the design/deployment of a pay solution for an ongoing PeopleSoft HCM implementation. Job Functions Lead the requirements gathering, design and configuration, build (with a designated technical resource), testing, training (subject to change), and deployment of a multi-faceted pay solution in an academic environment Partner with Stakeholders to gather and validate business requirements and maintain compliance with State and Federal regulations Work closely with an assigned functional leads and developers to validate code functionality and unit test results Skills 2-4 years of PeopleSoft implementation experience Experience in at least 1-2 large, distributed implementations of 9.x version of PeopleSoft Prior experience in Higher Education, specifically research institutions and including background with State and Federal regulation compliance Working knowledge on PeopleSoft HCM modules of Payroll for North America, Workforce Administration, and Commitment Accounting Ability to work cross-functionally with a variety of people, including campus leaders and technical developers, to accomplish goals as planned under tight deadlines Experience with MS Word and Excel Familiarity with academic pay plans, preferred Exposure to Federal research grant regulations, preferred Working knowledge of SQL and DB2, preferred
