Desired Skills and Experience -Provides senior leadership with metrics and insights based upon detailed analysis of emerging trends, business performance and key metrics. -Responsible for complex analysis of business problems. Use rich and innovative analytical skills to forecast key business drivers. Uncover non-intuitive trends found only in the data. -Partner with internal business customers to develop analyses that lead to actionable insights. oContribute to presentations for senior management. oBuild analytical tools, user friendly reports and ad-hoc analyses to support and enable our operational teams. oDevelop strong knowledge of business processes across our organization in order to provide relevant insights and recommendations to the team. oUnderstand business goals and develop analytical solutions to support operational performance reviews and decision making. -Combine data from multiple sources (SQL databases, Excel files, flat files, etc.) into integrated views that can be used to drive analysis and summarized crisply for executive decision making. -Collaborate & partner with the Business Intelligence team and data warehouse developers to translate business requirements into technical specifications. Insuring that data integrity, reporting and analyses progress symbiotically. -Partner closely with the Data Warehouse and ETL teams to understand the source data systems and the data integration framework and their impact on reporting solutions/systems. -Research and apply techniques for advanced analysis. Propose new ideas for adoption within our Customer Operations team. Become an expert on internal/external data sources, ensuring data accuracy when using them. -Lead lean/six-sigma projects to drive business improvements & use continuous improvement tools to identify defects and improve processes. -Ability to propose robust solutions to improve processes and proactively drive opportunities to resolution, both operations & data architectures. Develop and promote analytical best practices within the company. Minimum: BS in engineering, computer science, mathematics or similar field required with eight years of work experience, of which five years are in an analytical field and two years are in quantitative analysis addressing business relevant problems and recommend solutions Preferred: (1) Masters Degree (MS, MIS, MBA); (2) Business Analytics and Optimization; (3) Lean/Six Sigma certification Experience working in a customer focused operation Experience working with SQL Server and Tableau Strong Excel, Access & Relational Database skills All qualified applicants will not be discriminated against and will receive consideration for employment without regard to protected veteran status, disability, race, color, religion, sex or national origin.
