The successful Sr. Mobile Software Developer should have a strong working knowledge of object orientated languages (Java, C++, Objective –C, C#, or similar), knowledge of Xcode and Cocoa framework as well as experience working with and developing Web Services, using HTTP, JSON, XML, REST, and SOAP. We are seeking someone with a strong working knowledge of Linux/Unix based systems, scripting, and command-line operations along with experience in deploying, configuring Tomcat, ActiveMQ, Camel, and/or equivalent applications. The successful candidate will communicate effectively both orally and in writing (passionate communicator, effective through influence and highly adept at challenging and enhancing ideas, while preserving relationships), analyze information, understand implications, and effectively propose solutions with a high degree of professionalism and confidentiality. Additional requirements of the Sr. Mobile Software Developer include but are not limited to: Ability to handle multiple priorities simultaneously as well as work collaboratively with cross-functional teams Ability to work individually as well as a team environment Strong understanding of the Agile Software Development Methodology Experienced in the programming for both iOS and Android Operating Systems Excellent customer service skills Ability to work with little or no supervision Detail oriented and excellent organizational skills Excellent interpersonal skills Proven self-starter with demonstrated ability to make decisions Excellent leadership skills Additional Basic Qualifications include: Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Engineering or related field, preferred Minimum of 5 years of technical experience Knowledge of consumer mobility technology trends, platforms, and support requirements Demonstrated experience developing mobile apps that leverage web services At least one publicly available application in the iTune App Store and Google Play
