Title: Business Intelligence Analyst - MS Azure Type: Full Time Function: Information Systems Division: Motorparts Location: Southfield, MI, United States (HQ) DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: The MS (Microsoft) Azure Business Intelligence Analyst will work within the Information Systems organization and is responsible for managing the relationship between business department for reporting needs and IT BI team. This role is a combination of business analysis of needs, project management and implementation of requirements. • Ensure data update, consistency, and accuracy on a daily basis for reports • Gather, analyze, and define end user requirements for BI and usability in accordance with business objectives. • Analyze processes, identify process drivers. Share & “sell” the results of the analysis • Elaborate and execute solutions up to final reporting delivered to the business users • Document and prepare presentation for the process and reporting • Develop communication and training toward maintenance teams, project teams, and the whole business community • Project Management and/or Scrum Master Responsibilities over the IT Delivery team. • Develop, implement, and maintain policies, procedures, and associated plans for BI administration and appropriate use. • Conduct research and make recommendations on new and emerging Web technologies that can be leveraged through existing Web investments. REQUIREMENTS: • Engineer or Accounting degree, double education technical & business are appreciated • Experience with Microsoft Azure with at least 2 projects o Experience in the Cloud of Microsoft Azure, create, setup, maintenance o Experience with Microsoft Power BI reporting tool, developing, setup, create new reports, reports maintenance o Integration with other systems to collect the data into Microsoft Azure • At least 3 years of experience in Reporting tool different from Microsoft Azure, possibly SAP BW • Familiar with data mining techniques and make recommendations on technologies related to data mining. • Project Management or scrum master experience. • Strong analytical skills, enabling to quickly understand the drivers of a business process (Finance, sales, purchasing, supply chain, production, etc.) • Very strong analytical approach to problem solving and solution development • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; persuasive in presenting complex data and concepts to groups. • Strong customer-service orientation. • Ability to communicate ideas in both technical and user-friendly language. • Ability to conduct research into application issues and products. • Highly self-motivated and directed, with keen attention to detail. • Able to prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment. • Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment. • Additional value is to own one of the follow Microsoft Certification: o Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA) o Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE) o Microsoft Certified Solutions Developer (MCSD) • Some travel may be required for the purpose of offsite software installation, training, configuration, and so on.
