Role:SAP BW Hana Lead Architect Location:Peoria, IL Job description The SAP BW Hana Lead Architect plays an important leadership and senior architect role in our SAP Business Systems Group. This position will work closely with the senior management of our departments, enabling Client to provide the best possible Product, Delivery, and Customer Service experience in the industry. This includes designing and implementing SAP solutions that enable the enterprise to make informed decisions with data analytics and cognitive tools across all platforms (desktops, laptops, tablets, and Mobile apps) deploying both on premise and cloud solutions. We look to this position for SAP counsel and guidance in a number of areas, including analyzing and modeling the data needs of the enterprise, defining the dashboard and reporting solutions, helping to project manage a transition to S/4, and mentoring the junior members of the team within the group. · Work with the IT Leadership team in developing strategic direction, major project plans, and managing delivery. · Engage with the Business Community to gather business information, dashboard, and reporting requirements. · Maximize the value of our BI/Hana landscape and rapidly deploy BI/HANA solutions. · Lead the planning, design, implementation and support of SAP BI/HANA projects. · Advise on new and better ways to gather, consolidate and present information. · Define and drive BI standards, guidelines, and Best Practices · Interact with our external SAP outsourcing support Business Partner to co-develop solutions, and direct the development, testing and implementation of solutions. · Work with business users to provide guidance on project prioritization. · Perform second level support for SAP How to questions which cant be answered by a team of SAP Super Users within the business community. Skills: Outstanding communication and presentation skills with the ability to operate in front of Executive Teams and Working Teams with the same level of proficiency. Expertise in all facets of BI/HANA, BIBW, Business Objects and Lumira. Excellent data modelling, data architecture and data analytical skills. Extensive knowledge of ECC Transactional data In depth knowledge of setup, use, and modification of SAP data extractors Experience: 12 plus years of SAP BI/BW technical support 8 plus years of working with Business Objects Minimum of 2 years actual SAP BI/HANA and Lumira technical support Consumer Product Industry experience required Java, SQL, ABAP required Some Field Sales Force Commission reporting system experience helpful COBOL helpful
